The Lunar Men
Maria Whatton and Musician, Sarah Matthews | Running time 90 minutes
On the night of a full moon the Artist Joseph Wright is residing at the home of Doctor Erasmus Darwin. He is invited to join in the feasting and discourse of the Lunar Men’s meeting.
Tales are told by glistening candlelight of dark Derbyshire caves glittering with minerals, hazardous oceanic journeys and perilous love affairs. There is profit to be made and new horizons to conquer.
Armed with only a viola, percussive instruments and fantastic improvised narrative, Maria and Sarah take you through an odyssey of song, sound and humour.
